(Visit our A2shtanga Blog for the latest on workshops, schedule, etc.)

          *****************************************************************

We are an informal group sharing the practice of Ashtanga yoga, a vigorous form of yoga that challenges the body, mind and spirit.

Our goal is to help foster the Ashtanga community in Ann Arbor by making space available several times a week where we can practice together and offer traditional "Mysore" style instruction - classes where students proceed at their own pace and receive individualized attention and feedback from the teacher.  For more information about Ashtanga yoga and Mysore classes, see the links to the right.

Schedule.  We are in a period of transition, so please check the link to the blog or the Schedule page for the latest info.  Doors open a few minutes before 6 and close by 8.  Students may arrive and practice at any time within this period.  Also, the studio may be open for self-practice at times; please send an email if you are interested.

Location.  OmMoves Studio at 218 N. Fourth Avenue, Second Floor (above the Food Coop).

(Many of us also attend the Saturday morning 8:15 a.m. group class led by Jonathan Tyman at Inward Bound.)

Cost.  We suggest a donation of $5 to help cover the costs of our space. A2shtanga teachers are offering their time free of charge to share their passion for yoga and help support the Ann Arbor Ashtanga community.

If you've practiced Ashtanga before, just drop in and join us for class anytime.  If you have questions, send us an email (include your phone number if you would prefer a call back).  We'll do our best to respond quickly.

Beginners are also welcome, but please send us an email with your phone number before attending class.  One of us will call you back to go over any questions and talk about the best way to start.
